How to play

Turn the starting word into today's color, one letter at a time.

1. Change exactly one letter per step. No adding, removing or reordering.
2. Every rung must be a real four-letter word.
3. Land on the color to win. The shortest number shown is the best route that exists, so matching it is perfect. No one can beat it.

Everyone gets the same puzzle each day, and the shortest route is always 5 or 6 steps, so today is exactly as hard for you as it is for everyone else.
